The need for relaxation...

Hello guys! I just wanna take us on a little journey on how and why we need to relax.

The Cambridge English dictionary define relaxation as a pleasant activity that makes you become calm and less worried.

Relaxation can equally be seen as the state of being relaxed.

Relaxation can ease a lot of things we pass through as humans,some of which are: Pain,heart disease and fatigue.

Why do we need to relax?

It is very necessary that as humans,we rest as at when due. Some of the reasons why we need this relaxation are:

. Relaxation reduces blood pressure
. It improves digestion
. It maintains normal blood sugar level
. It reduces fatigue
. Reduces anger and frustration
. Improves concentration and mood
. It gets one ready for forthcoming activities

To get the best out of the aforementioned
relaxation techniques,it is advisable to use them with other positive coping methods such as getting enough rest or sleep, thinking positively and exercise.

How do you know you are stressed?

Yeah,I presume most people will harbour this question in mind.

Firstly,stress can be an emotional pressure humans suffer or go through. The absence of relaxation leads to stress. How do you know when one is stressed?

. Lack of sleep.
. Fatigue
. Procrastination or negligence of
responsibilities.
