I just happen to keep an aloe plant right next to where I put my makeup on.. And Every morning.. after I shower.. I take part of that aloe and rub on my face before i put anything on my face, I use it like a face serum. It dries almost instantly. Then, I apply my moisturizer .. and start putting my makeup on.. It has done wonders for my skin.. This is an excellent post @bodzila.. This is so inexpensive too.. because some of these products are costly. I followed, upvoted and resteemed.. Great read!!

It's always a great idea to have your own plant. Some of these products don't even have aloe vera, they only put it as one of the ingredients. Your method sounds interesting!

It sure is interesting... I've been doing this about 6months now... and i can see a difference. and so cheap to. I just make sure I always wash the aloe off before it goes on my face. I forgot to mention that in my last post..

I break off a piece.. and wash it. then i just split it down the middle to open it up.. and the juicy gel is what i smear on my face and neck. easy peasy

Oh yes. And I even go as far as having a gal of aloe juice in my fridge.. Because it is great for digestion or tummy problems.... It also works as an oxygen boom for your room.. I could go on and on for sure of the useful ways to use it..lol..
