The Minnesota measles outbreak is ongoing.

It is the largest outbreak in the state since 2017. It is occurring primarily in the Minneapolis Somali community among unvaccinated children.

Both RFK Jr. and Andrew Wakefield (who first spread the false claim that the MMR vaccine causes autism) have targeted the Somali community in Minnesota with anti-vaxxer advocacy over the last decade causing a decline in vaccination.
