I like to use frankincense essential oil in my lip balm, skin cream, and muscle rub, and also use the resins from both the frankincense and myrrh as a chewing gum because of their health benefits and to help release tension in my jaw when I get stressed. The initial taste can be rather bitter but it goes away and the flavor left is pleasant.

Some of the health benefits of both are that they help boost the immune system, are good for oral health, thyroid health, antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, treat digestive issues, promote healthy skin and tissue repair, and detoxify the body. Those are just to name a few of their benefits so I do recommend looking it up.

In the video below at around the 5 minute mark, I explain a bit more about the resins and the oils, their uses and benefits, plus some other things such as making catnip tea and renewing my blackberry fermentation starter I started up a year ago, which is doing amazing since refreshing it.

So cool - I love when items we hear about in history books are still just as good and probably better today than most commercially available products.
