In today's fast life, smartphone became necessity and serving critical tool for almost everything from business, social interaction, ordering daily needs and groceries in day to day basis causing array of health issues like insomnia, mood swinging and enhanced stress levels.
Though we can not do away with the smart phones entirely but can lessen the anxiety and its adverse impact on our health.
Signs we need to watch out for
-Excessive usage of device for hours
-Lack of interaction with family and friends and instead prefer playing games, chatting, social sites FB, Insta etc
-Being impatient/impulsive checking smartphone updates every now and then
-Feeling anxious, irritating or dread when smartphone is not with you
Tips for lessening the impact
-Never ever check your phone first thing in the morning and last thing in the night before sleep
-Try to only check your phone during work or assign schedule to check phone
-Don't respond to call while having food, doing exercise , talking with family members
-Don't bring your phone on bed instead pick up a book for good read
-The best and the effective tip is to delete all social apps from your smart phone and check only on your desktop or laptop
