Today I could choose between the gym or go outside to move.
And because I think the gym is really stupid, I have chosen to go outside.
Do not get me wrong, I think anyone who can sustain any form of movement is admirable. Whether that is indoor sports or outdoor exercise.
I only speak for myself.
At this moment I have to use every form of physical activity. But because I mainly spend whole days inside, I prefer to be outside.
Moreover, we humans are not made to move dumb weights back and forth. And certainly not to stay in a dumb gym.
If I had the time every day, I would always prefer the outdoors to the gym. Fitness is, in my opinion, a lazy prosperity sport. But 1 that I will have to do for the time being unfortunately.
A brisk walk
So because the weather allowed it too today I went for a walk. I have been wearing a Fitbit sports watch for a while and it keeps track of all progress.
I normally struggle with my daily goals of, for example, 10,000 steps per day.
But not today! Today I have achieved all my goals and that feels good.
My goal for me now is to walk at least 10,000 steps every day. And at least every day at least 1 hour in motion.
Whether it's in the gym or outside. It does not matter at all. If I finally reach my goal.

Way to go! Doing exercise is a great way to stay healthy no matter how you do it as long as you do it correctly. I love walking outdoors as well. I can do it most days because I live in Panama.
