Every year we see new fitness trends that people follow so enthusiastically but not all can be labeled as trends. There are few which people think are trends but end up being called overstated. So, to make sure you don’t follow these kinds of so-called trends, here is the list of five trends people will be leaning toward in 2018:
- Group training: Doing something in a group is always fun and can be finished without any hesitation. People have been exercising in groups for years and results are always positive. But the possibility of group training will not be limited to just exercising together it can be camping, jogging, hiking, cycling and more group activities that can help you get a good workout. One of the main advantages of group training is that people motivate each other and help in accomplishing the goal.
- High Intensity Interval Training: High Intensity is not your usual training method it is fast and requires a lot of strength. People love this training because it does not take up much time and gives the same result as the other training methods. It is simple to do; you will do an intensive workout for 15-20 seconds and then relax for 40-50 seconds not by sitting but doing less intensive training. You will constantly be working out but your intensity levels will be varying from intense to easygoing workout.
- Yoga: You will see a lot of yoga this year like last year. The only thing that will change is the styles of yoga because there are different styles of yoga and people always mixing different styles together to create a fusion. People love yoga because it is beneficial for both body and mind. It helps in relieving tension and controlling or curing various health problems. Basic yoga poses are easy to do and can be performed anywhere.
- Strength Training: Strength training is basically lifting weights and people are doing it for a long time. There is no way that strength training will not be trending this year too. Men have always been a fan of lifting weights but in the past few years women have also taken a liking to it and included in their workout. Professionals also encourage strength training because it burns fat and strengthens your muscles and bones. You don’t have to join a gym for lifting weights; you can just buy a couple of them and keep working out at your home or maybe the office.
- Wearable Technology: Last year we saw a huge spike in wearable technologies as people took a liking to it because it was both useful and fashionable. Devices like smartwatches will keep track of your heart rate or let you know it is time for your workout. You will see a lot of these technologies out their year.
