1.Coconut is a wonderful food, loaded with electrolytes, which is very good for our pH & muscle fuction. It offers high level of manganese, potassium and phosphorus.
2.coconut is a MCT ( medium chain triglyceride) which helps to cut down the risk of cholesterol levels.
3.it is high in fat that’s why it is good for diabetes as fat has a low glycemic index and we are supposed to eat low glycemic index foods in diabetes. Even addition of fat to meals reduces the glycemic index
4.Cononut contains some compounds which prevents yeast infections in the vaginal area and kill pathogens. That’s why coconut is very good in pregnancy
5.Coconut contains a special saturated fatty acid called lauric acid which is very good for heart infact it improves the body’s fat burning abilities.
6.Coconut is very good in reducing central adiposity, it reduces the risk of many diseases as well. It is very good for obese people, it gives satiety to them due to which they eat less and reduces the calories intake.
I don't really enjoy coconut, i feel its too hard for my teeth but i sure do like the milk a whole lot. so will be taking a whole lot of it.. Thanks for the write up.
