During rainy season, flooding is still a problem in many places. People who are living in flooded areas are more prone to some communicable diseases like leptospirosis; this disease is deadly if not treated. The leptospira bacteria resides in the kidney stone/s of an animal as well as with humans. It can cause serious damage to the kidney and also to the liver.

Dogs and mice are prone to leptospirosis. The bacteria can be transmitted through mouth, eyes, nose, and open wounds from the infected animals’ urine.

The symptoms of human infected with leptospirosis are high fever, chills, red eyes, headache, rashes, muscle aches, vomiting, diarrhea, jaundice, and abdominal pain.

If suffering from any of these symptoms, consult a doctor immediately for a conventional treatment.

I just recently found out that leptospirosis attacks kidneys. This is because, during my dialysis session, I saw someone taking dialysis session too because he has leptospirosis. Take care everyone.

I also don't know why they live in the kidney stones.
You take care too.
