Breakfast is a meal taking before you go to work, school, and office etc. breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It doesn’t only give energy to start a new day, but it is also have many health benefits. It is imperative that you make eating breakfast a regular habit. Breakfast simply mean to “Break” the “fast” between dinner and the meal eaten after a person wakes up the next morning. If you look at the amount of time spanning between dinner and breakfast, it is very fitting. For some people it can take unto 12 hours since their last meal and yet they still skip breakfast and rush out the door.
Eating breakfast is very important for everyone but is especially so for children and adolescents. Children who take their breakfast tend to perform better and concentrate in the classroom. For those kids who don’t take their breakfast they tend to get tried in class and loss concentration because they have not kick start their body with breakfast.

When we sleep our bodies tends to slow down metabolism. The only way to kick start our metabolism for the day is by eating healthy breakfast. This will allow our bodies to start burning through calories from the very beginning of the day, rather than in the middle of it after you have eaten lunch.

Breakfast that is taking in the morning greatly decrease hunger and cravings though out the day. If you delay your first meal of the day till lunch, your body goes into survival mode and starts storing calories, creating fat. Some people don’t take their breakfast because to avoid eating extra calories, but eating a high fiber, nutrient-dense breakfast early in the morning, you are actually less likely to be hungry though out the day. Why not do yourself a favor by taking your breakfast in the morning.
Avoid overeating
If you don’t eat your breakfast and you prolong the time between dinner and your next meal of the day, it is normal that you will end overeating because then you will be really hungry. The hunger pangs and the thought of eating all morning will only cause you to gorge at lunch, eating extra calories that ca lead to obesity and other health issues.
Improve your memory
Carbohydrates are essential healthy for the brain functioning. By taking healthy breakfast that contains carbohydrate to start your morning, you are improving your brain memory and your concentration levels. Kids who take breakfast tend to perform better and improve in cognitive skills.
Help loss weight
One of the awesome benefits of taking breakfast in the morning is that it helps you lose weight, HOW? Because many studies have shown that weight gain is commonly associated with skipping breakfast. Even if you eat too much or have something a little unhealthy, you will still have the whole day to make up for it. Eating breakfast is one of the easiest ways of losing weight.
Lowers high cholesterol
Eating your breakfast in the morning can help lower high cholesterol also known as bad cholesterol. When you don’t take your breakfast you create a chain reaction in your body. First, you slow down your metabolism. Second, fat is stored longer in your body. Third, you have a higher tendency to overeat at your next meal. Fourth, you gain weight and your LDL cholesterol goes up.
Choosing the right breakfast
The just goes to show how important it is to chose the right breakfast. A healthy breakfast meal should contain a variety of foods including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low- or non-fat dairy and lean protein.
Eating a healthy breakfast has many health benefits. If you are serious about your health and want to lose weight, it is important that you make regular breakfast consumption a regular aspect of your daily routine.
