Yoga and Exercise :
- Breathing exercises can lower body temperature and alleviate discomfort.
- Just sitting quietly and breathing deeply can have a relaxing effect on the nervous system.
Home Remedies :
Apply a cold compress, or an ice pack directly to the forehead
Soak in lukewarm water for about 5 to 10 minutes a couple of times in the day
Dress in clothing that is light and cool; it should not aggravate the skin rash
Consume a lot of fluids, especially water, fruit juice and hot soup
Eat foods that are bland (lacking taste) and are cooked without any oil or spices
Gargle with salt water and suck on something sweet like a hard candy
