I've also been confronted with this decision in my life very recently.
I have a dislocating shoulder injury that has worsened over the years, which started from when I was 14 years of age. Now being 32, the injuries sustained due to the dislocations throughout the years has called for an operation. Initially testing out various other ways to develop more muscle strength and overall body support for the shoulder, where I could use bodily compensation practically and with awareness through building specific muscle groups in and by the shoulder as well as throughout the body to through this network establish sufficient network support. However, the injuries were too extensive and consequential.
Fortunately, I have the opportunity to do a Stem Cell operation which I will share in my posts and travel blogs :) Herein focusing on the methods available to initiative the natural healing ability within the physical body. Furthermore, I am also doing research from my life experience into what within our mind, being and body, as well as environmental, relationship throughout generations and my own life has contributed to the suppression of the this natural healing ability.
Much research to come and looking forward to walking this experience to get to see what's what with my own eyes (within and without) lol Thanks for sharing your insights into compensation, a very interesting read.
I look forward to more investigations on the stem cell research. It is indeed a fascinating area of study.
Mesenchymal cells are indeed extraordinary :)
Best regards always :)
