I love a real good burger with all the trimmings and toppings, but as I have mentioned in one of my previous posts, I am working on being more health conscious so I decided to make turkey burger instead of a traditional beef burger. I have heard some people oppose turkey burgers because it could tend to be dry; however, these were very moist and packing with flavor. I kept it very simple with the use of fresh herbs and dried spices. I didn't use any binding agent as I wanted to keep it healthy. I used the patties for burgers which was made whole wheat sandwich thins, it's about 100 calories per bun so I didn't feel guilty. Also, I diced the patty and used it on top of a mixed greens salad, it was pretty good. The recipe is posted below, I forgot to post a picture of my burger, but nonetheless, here it goes.

1/2 tsp granulated onion
1/4 tsp celery seed
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp smoked paprika

That awesome that you are taking the journey of good clean eating. I own two gyms and I really enjoy helping people change their lives. I tell my clients often how important eating is. They don't understand that you can't exercise your way out of a bad diet. Now I just have to learn how to share my many different boot camp videos on steemit. i'm struggling learning how to work the platform. The recipe looks great!

Thank you for the kind words. I read somewhere eating is 80% of the battle while exercising is a mere 20%. Indeed, a lot of people don't understand that if you work out for hours at the gym and then have an unhealthy meal that the whole effort is sabotaged - the whole good calorie bad calorie factor. I am learning that with steemit, you need quite a lot of patience and need to be consistent with the post.
