I have suffered more panic attacks than this guy has had breakfasts lol Jokes aside I do have very useful tips for any anxiety sufferers out there.
I am prone to quick thinking, a gift and a curse, like a relationship really.
This stops me from sleeping sometimes because I am thinking so fast It feels like I cant stop, and if my thought patterns are infiltrated by a wave of negative thought patterns panic attacks will often occur. I am used to this as I have had this most of my young life.
So here are some tips if you are unfortunate enough to have a panic attack.
First of all healthy eating and exercise go together like a condom and penis in a Amsterdam brothel, in that order it really works well and distracts any negative thought patterns rattling through my skull, it takes time to become effective, so get off your butt and try it, if your not into it already and work out. Don't indulge the thoughts that try and sabotage this way of life, don't be feeding that nagging bitch in the back of your mind.
The urge to rush and escape are common when I'm balls deep in a panic. You must resist the urge to rush, and avoid fleeing the scene you are at.
There have been times I have been in my car driving and all of a sudden the fear starts creeping into my mind and the next second I am convinced I am about to die and that something bad is going to happen if I don't flee the scene, I feel a real need to drive fast and get to A+B quicker than Marty McFly needs to get back to the future
This is in medical terms fight or flight and basically when you start panicking your adrenaline will rush and you may breathe quickly and begin to hyperventilate, like an Abusive husband and disabled wife, makes for a bad combination.
So whatever you are doing and whatever the circumstance may well be, could be walking, driving, or with family etc, do not rush what your doing in the mist of an episode because your reinforcing the idea that something bad is going to happen, and for me if I start to rush the panic will escalate very quickly.
Try not to fight a panic attack, and do not rush whatever your doing.
Count in odd numbers in your head and breathe in and out slow, and if you catch yourself thinking about the possibility that your having a heart attack or stroke or some other ailment that is about to release you from your mortal coil tell your self, I am ok, and proceed to count in odd numbers and slow your breathing down. This works for me.
The key is to work out who or what it is that makes you feel anxious, and if it is other people in your life either sort the issues out or move on without them. No one is worth wrecking your well being.
Many blessings

Your most welcome spidersprog, you have to try not to let that negative voice eat at you. I look at it like it is Me Vs Myself not everyone Vs Me, that helps to. Keep your head up. Many blessings
