Glasses

An interesting invention

Ever tried glasses like these? I coincidentally read about them and bought the cheapest ones. There are tiny holes in the glasses and you have to look through them to see... better, clearer.
For me, it works but my child seems to have more trouble with it. At first, it feels a bit weird to look through tiny holes but once you use them longer you forget about these holes -and black spots everywhere- and those holes you watch through seem to disappear. Kind of a weird invention.

Some say their eyes became better (was tested they had to change their glasses), others needed glasses with tinier holes to see better.
Interesting is more and more people suffer from bad eyes since the lockdowns. The reason is staring at a screen, less eye movement, always watching in the same direction, same distance. If you think about it it sounds logical.

These glasses are available for adults and children. Perhaps worth trying. Like with everything you have to keep trying to succeed. You won't get any skills if you give up so easily.
I watch films with it and read and write with these glasses. So far a good solution for a person like me with eye issues (allergies, infections and using sunglasses to protect my eyes).

A small note: you are not allowed to use these glasses if you take part of the traffic drive a car or (motor)cycle. The 'dead angle' is bigger and you might miss something or someone into your sight vision. You have to get used to a different way of watching too. I would call it more active. More turning of the head into a direction.

These glasses can be expensive or cheap but are way cheaper than normal glasses so if you need some for reading, writing, watching the telly, a movie in the cinema or... It might be worth the try.
