Hey guys, I'm a 20 year old non-smoker who's been using nicotine lozenges to help improve concentration and take the edge off during work. I was wondering if there are any long term health consequences I should look out for if I continue to use them regularly. I've heard that nicotine puts a lot of strain on the cardiovascular system, but I'm not sure if that is because of the delivery method or other reasons. My BP was 128/78 last time it was measured, not high but could be lower. Currently I do not have any heart issues. I'm 5'10 and 200ish pounds so I could stand to lose some weight. My diet is not very good but I believe my job counteracts it a lot. I do a lot of manual labor and carpentry work for a lumber company so I'm not completely sedentary. My overall concern is if I have anything to worry about regarding my nicotine usage. Thank you to whoever can fill me in!
