Healthcare industry can be the most promising industry, coming after Finance Industry, during Blockchain Revolution. Helathcare has always been considered as the product of "elite", the public is set to be lack of the ability to manage and analyze healthcare data, which in turn contribute to the centralized situation within industry. Data contributor (patients) can only give out healthcare data unidirectional. Even though the patient can get adequate treatment, bidirectional feedback is rare. Data with mobile movement is the challenge that Healthcare Industry needs to face.
During Blockchain era, patients have a greater autonomy on their own generated data, they can choose to give suitable data to trusted bodies, but not unconditionally giving the data to Helathcare companies, which use medical research as sugar coating. Helathcare data should not be delivered without cost.
On the other hand, healthcare professional (HCP) still get their benefit, Blockchain can record the whole patient medical record without error. HCP can receive the HealthCare data with none of missing, under the authorization from patient in advance. If HCP can get adequate and accurate medical record, which can treat the patients in a more effective way.
To a certain extent, healthcare data has become commodity, even the data from a new-born baby has value. After all, we are selling things from ourselves. Some people may think that selling healthcare data is nothing difference from selling our organs. Also some people think that selling it will out harm any part of your body, why no try to do so?
