Hello all, it's been a little bit. Not too much has happened since the last update, but just wanted to let y'all know what's happening.
HealthHeart is Now KEYQO!
We've officially chosen a new name of "KEYQO" (pronounced KEY-koe). We wrote this marketing blurb to explain our rationale. Check it out:
The word "keyqo" (pronounced KEY-koe) means "save it" in Somali. We love it since it symbolizes our desire to make the HCIT world a safer and more secure place. We save healthcare organizations from the fines, reputation damage, and legal troubles caused by a data breach. More importantly, we save the patients and employees of our partners from the fear of their identity being stolen, giving them the peace of mind of knowing their data was secure from the very beginning. And we're saving costs, time, and effort for everyone by utilizing the most cutting-edge technology out there to craft our solutions.
We have a logo created, and are working on rebranding our social media over the next few weeks. We also are designing a brand-new, more customer-centric site, which we're hoping will go live by early April. We've created email aliases, but the old ones are still active.
And in case you're worried, this will not impact your tokens in the slightest. Nothing's changing there :)
Product Updates
We're also happy to announce that we've partnered with Velvetech to develop our products. Velvetech (https://www.velvetech.com/) is an established enterprise software development company with offices in Chicago and Russia. We've really liked the work they've done for other customers, and hope this relationship will be fruitful for everyone. Highly recommend checking out their site to learn more. We haven't signed the formal contract, but are waiting on some details for the final design proposal to be hashed out. Shouldn't be more than two weeks.
The actual development will be done in stages. As you know, a full EHR is expensive to design and create. The quote we got was significantly higher than the total we raised in this crowdsale. As a result, we will be starting on part of the backend of the EHR, a blockchain component involving auditing of the transfer of patient records. More along the lines of interoperability. It'll be a tool that a clinic or hospital can install, which will check to see if and when confidential data will be moved, store that record in the blockchain, then another component will determine if that move is malicious or not. Cool part about this is that this product can be used with any EHR, not just ours. That'll allow us to sell to everyone and hopefully become revenue positive several months earlier than expected. That'll give us more funding to develop the rest without selling more of our tokens somehow or doing the angel/VC route or something. We'll pass along more details when the Velvetech contract is signed.
As always, thanks for reading and let me know if you have any questions.
