Color blindness is a general expression of the inability to see colors for what most people see. There may be no specialized cells in the retina called cones, which are vital for the translation of light waves to a sense of color is completely or partially or may not work properly, leading to color blindness

There are different types and degrees of this condition Most color-blind people confuse certain colors and in rare cases a person may not see color at all and some can distinguish colors only in certain lights

Because few are tested for their ability to distinguish between colors, color blindness is often a condition that is not limited to the sufferers, especially women. In most cases there is color blindness since birth, although the weakness of eyesight caused by white mites can reduce a person's ability to distinguish colors Later life
