Healthy relationships in the Bible: As best you can, answer your neighbor, and associate with the wise. Ben Sira 9:14

The Bible teaches us to have healthy relationships with others, and about this issue, the teacher of wisdom Ben Sira wrote in his book with great interest, because just as there are fools in the world, there are also wise men, we can live intelligently or we can live depending on what luck provides us.
The companions or friends we choose in life largely determine what we are because we learn by imitation, because in essence all men, like Cain and Abel, have to make a fundamental ethical choice in life: "Before everyone are life and death, whichever they choose will be given them" Ben Sira 15:17.
Blessedness is the best path for man because with blessedness comes happiness, prosperity, longevity, and peace; but this blessedness is also related to the friends we choose, that is why the wisdom of the sapiential books teaches men to choose companies carefully: "Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm" Proverbs 13:20.
And on this topic, the Book of Ben Sira also explained with intelligence:
"As best you can, answer your neighbor,
and associate with the wise.
With the learned exchange ideas;
and let all your conversation be about the law of the Most High.
Take the righteous for your table companions;
and let your glory be in the fear of God" Ben Sira 9:14-16.
The company of wise men elevates and inspires others, and whoever lives with wise men knows freedom in its true sense; and if someone seeks to be an excellent person, they are the ones that must be turned to, Ben Sira taught us. Wisdom and its teachers want the best for man, but suffering and happiness are there, men can choose between living with problems or solving them. Fools create problems but wise people solve them, we choose our friends and who we want to live with, we choose between blessedness and misfortune.
