Lemongrass have antioxidant properties. It helps to lower high blood pressure, maintain cholesterol level, also help to lower the levels of uric acid. Reduce pain, relieves pain caused by rheumatism, reduces fever, cough and used to kill germs and toxic wastes.
Lemongrass helps with stomachache issues, such as cramps and other abdominal pain.
it also helps stimulate bowel function, and improves digestion. The anti-inflammatory property of lemongrass has benefits for treating constipation, Colitis, and diarrhea.
It's aromatic scent induces a feeling of relaxation.
You can drink as lemongrass juice or lemongrass tea.
DIRECTIONS:
Lemongrass Juice
- Boil stalks of lemongrass in a casserole with water
*Add sugar or honey - add lemon / calamansi
- add some ice.
For Lemongrass Tea
*Same as lemongrass juice.
*Served hot
*You can add pandan leaves if you want.
