It's officially holiday season and I'm starting it with these super easy to make, but very delicious and healthy Christmas cinnamon cookies. This recipe is vegan, gluten free, refined sugar free and made without flour.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! And I have the most wonderful recipes coming at your way this month, starting with this amazing healthy Christmas cinnamon cookies recipe. Like all of my recipes, this one also contains only healthy ingredients that will in some way nourish your body. Forget the store bought cookies, you can make better ones yourself!

The main ingredients are almonds, walnuts, and of course, cinnamon. They are flourless and low in carbohydrates. These cookies are packed with healthy fats and will, because of that, be great afternoon pick me up snack or after dinner healthy dessert option. I love to have one with my cup of herbal tea or homemade healthy hot chocolate (p.s. The recipe is coming soon!)

You can absolutely use any other nuts. In fact, ground hazelnuts would be perfect for this recipe also. You can also add baking powder to the recipe, but I don't find it necessary, so I didn't include it. I used nuts for the topping and decoration, but you can for example dip them in chocolate or use raisins, cranberries or chocolate pieces. Options are really limitless.

These cookies are also amazing DIY Christmas gift for your friends and family. Just put them in a mason jar and add a pretty bow and you are good to go! :)
