Hey there!
I’ve been busy and good so I didn’t have much to report the past couple days.
Still keeping up with my plan!
I do have another challenge for myself for January though!
I think I’ll do a juice cleanse/diet/binge whatever you call it! Just upping my juice intake like crazy. Celery mostly but whatever I can get that’s good quality and a good price this time of year, plus veg I still have from the garden ❤️
I actually just got my first juicer not long ago. Normally I opted for smoothies because it’s much more nutritious, but sometimes chunky kale smoothies are HARD to get down 😂
So juice should be a fun change!
A large part of my entire existence has been dedicated to trying to feel better, both mentally and physically.
Slowly over the past two decades I’ve gone from someone who literally hoped whatever she took next would kill her, to someone who deeply values her health and her life, and will do anything to keep it safe.
My life is a long journey and I swear I’ve lived a few lifetimes already or something. Born an old soul they say.
Perhaps.
The most I can tell you is to heal yourself as much as you can.
You are your best doctor.
Only you can identify what you’re feeling inside and make the necessary changes to be on the road to wellness. When you’re in pain all over it’s really hard to isolate what’s wrong. Detailed logging of healthy and unhealthy habits (smoking, drinking, exercise, meditation, etc), food and water intake and where and when you’re having pain can literally be lifesaving.
Most people just take the pills offered, they “feel” better, and move on. I learned early on that this is not true health. True health usually takes effort on our part to change. To prevent reoccurrence, or worsening of a problem, we have to acknowledged it and fix the problem. Proper diagnoses can help, sometimes it can make all the difference, other times it’s largely irrelevant, especially when they’re using umbrella terms like “arthritis” and “IBS.”
I aspire to be an herbalist in my future, and have been enthralled in many books lately, some telling me what sort of herbs grow around here, others about the herbs themselves, how I can make tinctures and medicines.
I hope you can all achieve your personal health goals! If you don’t have any, make some new ones for the coming year!
Something I’ll never regret is when I took control of my health, my actions and my life.
Never play victim!
🖤
You’re strong and you’re in charge of yourself 100%!
Anyway, much love to my three dedicated readers 😂
I hope you’re all healthy and happy this season!
Take care all!
