Bourbon, for your Health Protection (How liquor can be the healthiest drink of all)

First, this drink is only for adult 21 years and above.
Many of us welcomed the New Year less grandiose than what we usually do during Pre-pandemic. Fewer gatherings, fellowships done through “Zoom meeting”, and lesser time spent outside; all this to avoid being infected with virus. But still many suffer from cough, cold and fever because of the hostile weather. Even more so, studies shows growing number of adult obtain sleep-related problems. Maybe you’re thinking, what’s the connection between cold and sleeping problems? Well it is what my recipe can aid all at once.
Most of us are used to take this hot lemon-honey for natural remedy to common sickness as it was served by our parents when were younger. Now, we grown-ups like to spice things up a bit. With this perfect mixture, not just cold but even difficulty of sleeping can be treated.
Let me introduce, The Bourbon Honey Lemon tea. Take it easy though, there should only be around 8% of alcohol in this mixture. As our main goal here is a remedy that actually feels better. While the alcohol in one drink great for falling asleep, one too many and the sleep you receive won’t be that refreshing at all, and could cause you to wake up the next morning with feeling hammered. So better opt with this healthful drink. With right amount of mixture, you’ll definitely feel better. Refresh and Enjoy!

Ingredients:
• 8 Oz Hot Water
• 1 Bag Herbal or Floral Tea-- health benefits: helps reduce anxiety and stress, acts as antiseptic. Promotes healthy hair and aid in digestion. Also have anti-aging properties. Brings calming sensation. (If using loose leaf; 1 Tbsp. Chrysanthemum or Jasmine flowers are good options)
• 1 oz. bourbon—health benefits: contains healthful properties such as ellagic acid, an antioxidant that reduces carcinogens from forming and leads to cancer. Has calming sensation. Helps prevent cholesterol build up in the arteries that could lead to heart attack. Also, Researchers found out that regular with moderate consumption of bourbon reduce the risk of developing medical ailments such as Alzheimer’s, dementia diabetes and a lot more.( Jack Daniel’s Honey Bourbon or Four Roses bourbon are good options)
• 1 Tablespoon Honey--health benefits: healthful nutrients, antioxidants, helps lower blood pressure, has healing properties that treats wounds and burns.
• 1 Lemon Wedge or 2 Tbsp. of squeezed lemon juice w/ pulp: benefits-- rich in vit.C, improves digestion, protect against anemia, prevents kidney stones and a lot more
• 1/2 Stick of Cinnamon—health benefits: antiviral, antibacterial, anti-fungal properties. Brings aromatic flavor. Warming and invigorating, yet calming.

Method:
Pour hot water into mug and steep tea and spices (opt) for 2–3 minutes. Remove tea bag and spices; add honey, stirring to dissolve. Pour in Bourbon, add squeeze of lemon, stir and find relief.
