The Wingmakers https://www.wingmakers.com/6-heart-virtues/ introduced us to the six Heart Virtues in 2005. They are gratitude, forgiveness, compassion, understanding, courage and humility. These six individual practices weave together into a framework of love and unity. Another way to say it is that the Heart Virtues flow from the higher frequencies of love and unity.
I want to start by explaining what the Heart Virtues are not:
• They are not intellectual. Instead, they come from the heart not the mind.
• Humanity has advanced so far (particularly intellectually) since the dawn of the industrial age, yet our emotional trajectory has been quite flat.
• Brainpower is only one form of intelligence - heart power is more important.
• These Virtues are not mechanical actions that can be performed like simple tasks. They are deeply human, requiring practitioners to be vulnerable and open.
The energetic heart is the physical heart's quantum equivalent. It resides at the same location as the pump we all know and depend on but it is independent of time/space. Think of the physical heart as the platform supporting the energetic heart.
Consistent behavior that is in alignment with the Virtues allows you to perceive your higher self and gain its perspectives, its consciousness.
• Heart awareness is the way to reunite with our intuition and light bodies. This will be the subject of a future post.
• It re-vitalizes your energy and creates a coherent emotional state.
• That re-vitalized energy in turn interconnects you with others. Einstein named this quantum entanglement.
• The practice of Heart Virtue must be anchored in genuineness.
Regular practice is a process like an ascending spiral. Warning: there is No instruction manual
1. Become grounded in the framework - my Heart Meditations are a good way to take this step.
2. Experiment and deepen your understanding of each of the virtues by utilizing the practice of Track-Treat-Transform.
• Track means that the individual can self-report their progress on the six heart virtues over time and track their ups and downs, and see their self-mastery growing against the backdrop of time.
• Treat means that the individual, while tracking their progress, can see when they hit a snag or vexing problem that takes them off course. They then treat this issue like a physician treats a wound or illness. The treat is a solution to a problem or emotional misstep, not a reward.
• Transform is the result of tracking and treating along this journey. You are transformed into a self-empowered, spiritually vibrant person.
3. We gain
• The ability to self-empower.
• Gradual awareness of the vibratory fields and timelines that surround us.
4. Learn to orchestrate the Virtues.
There are some "counters" to the Heart Virtues:
• Denser emotions of jealousy greed anger create strife and instability.
• 3 subtle desires of immediate gratification, control and seeking the next thing.
• Ambition and ego are the components of societal dysfunction.
The new path that is blazed by following the Heart Virtues is both scary and exhilarating! We have become too comfortable with the fear-based outcomes of division, duality, divisiveness, us vs them, male vs female and so forth.
This can't continue if we wish to remain a sustainable species. We must embrace the Six Heart Virtues!
