The prayer of Hannah: My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn is lifted high. 1 Samuel 2:1

The first Book of Samuel begins with the story of the conception and childhood of this prophet. The Bible relates to us of the miraculous conception of Samuel, since his mother Hannah was sterile. Samuel's parents were devout persons of the Lord, and when they went to Shiloh to worship God, Hannah, Elkanah's wife, offered a special vow to the Lord with the intention of obtaining the favor of her God and thus becoming pregnant: "LORD Almighty, if you will only look on your servant's misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head" 1 Samuel 1:11.
With this vow, Hannah consecrated his child, Samuel, to the Lord from his very conception, making the Nazarite vow for her child, and with Samuel began the heyday of prophecy in the Old Testament. This story from the Bible is very important because what it is telling us is that many prophets were conceived in the same fear of God: "The beginning of wisdom is to fear the Lord; she is created with the faithful in the womb" Ben Sira 1:14.
And the Bible tells us that the Lord listened to Hannah and she got pregnant. And when the child was weaned and presented in the house of God in Shiloh, the Bible tells us that Hannah made a special prayer.
A prayer of thanksgiving where the omnipotence of God is exalted, the Lord in his mercy watches over his devotees, despises the arrogant and lifts up the humble.
This is how the Bible describes us how Hannah's song began:
"My heart rejoices in the LORD;
in the LORD my horn is lifted high.
My mouth boasts over my enemies,
for I delight in your deliverance.
There is no one holy like the LORD;
there is no one besides you;
there is no Rock like our God.
Do not keep talking so proudly
or let your mouth speak such arrogance,
for the LORD is a God who knows,
and by him deeds are weighed" 1 Samuel 2:1-3.
