"Friends Forever" Songwriting Challenge #24 by Morgan Washam

in heartbreak •  5 years ago

This week's song is written from the perspective of losing one's best friend; when that person has chosen to shut you out of their life for someone else. I didn't want to write this song, yet I had no choice. Life is not perfect. It's messy at times, and cruel, impatient, hasty and misunderstood. I think the important thing is do we accept the lesson and move forward?
This song is real and it's raw, and I hope that you can feel something when you listen.

See you next week.
