I like card games, but I would not start anything old I have already tried. Are you aware of any new upcoming card game, which will not die right after being published?
BTW I liked Conquest of Champions most of all.

Valve is supposed to be coming out with a card game based off of DOTA2 called Artifact. It was revealed last year but not too many details are out on it atm

Valve is strong and fair company. I am looking forward to it. I liked DotA before. And a card game like that can only be original. You will put cards on the lanes and cast spells like "gank" "invisibility" "illusion" "Zeus' thunderbolt" etc.
