A cheese holiday everyone.

In order to enhance the festive atmosphere of joy, I decided to publish a post that will clarify and help everyone get more exposure on the Steemit platform.

I noticed after a thorough excavation on the subject, that there are tags with more traffic than others.

"Traffic" refers to posts with high quality content, a high number of votes, a high number of comments and of course high revenue.

I noticed another thing that actually happened to me personally.

New users do not usually label all 5 possible tags (6 through the deepshot app) and they always use the same one or two tags in most of their posts (as I have usually done at the beginning).

So first of all always tag 5 tags in the post.

Second, consider the content of the post in terms of images and text.

If you are not sure that there is a particular tag, look for it in the steemit search -
Which is the lil' magnifying glass next to the pencil icon at the top of the page.

For example:
I posted a post about a purple flower that contains a picture of the flower, a short story about how I got to him at all and a little information about the flower itself that can be taken from any source only to give credit in reference.

Now the section for each such part of the post has a reasonable situation that there will be a tag.

So I'll look for:
flower, and purple, and vally it is where I took it, and photography, and canon
This is the camera that I use, and nature that it was filmed in nature and so on.

Keep in mind that you can always edit the entire post after publication except for the first tag you've tagged.
Therefore, it is very important to make sure that you have registered it correctly.

In addition, the first tag should be the one with the largest movement of all the rest.

Note that there are main subjects and sub-topics in the tags - photography takes up everything you took, compared to samrtphonephotography that captures only photos taken with the phone.

Do not tag a tag just for traffic, otherwise you will get notifications (and in extreme case also flag) that you spam the tag.

You can search for a post on the same topic as yours, read and check which tags it is tagged in.

To maximize exposure, I personally try not to post the same tags all the time, because there are too many sub-themes in the tags, and you can tag only 5 or 6 at a time.

Of course, if a tag does not exist, you can create it yourself by simply registering it as one of the post's tags.

Some of the tags I mentioned in the sub-topics belong to photography contests - so you can actually earn twice - both exposure and prize if you win.
It's important to read and follow the rules of any such contest, so that you do not tag a picture with the correct tagging but on the wrong day of the week.
