Beware for you Telegram app users. The reason, recently experts from Kaspersky Lab have found the 'in the wild' attacks by new malware by using zero-day vulnerability in Telegram Desktop applications.
The vulnerability was used to distribute versatile malware, computer dependent could be used either as a backdoor or as a tool to deliver software mining. According to research, this vulnerability is actively exploited since March 2017 that serves as the mining of virtual currency (cryptocurrency), such as Monero, Zcash, and others.
Instant messaging has long been an important part of our ever-connected life, and is basically designed to make it easier for users to communicate with friends and relatives. However, at the same time this service can significantly complicate the situation if they experience cyber attacks.
