Andrzej Sapkowski is the legendary writter for this books. This games are cd projekt rejection made. Even though the first two games have not created much impact, they have built the throne to the gamers with the last game and are considered to be the best game of all time. But there are disagreements on this issue, the majority accepts it.

You play a hunter with genetic mutation in the game. You hunt creatures, you are interested in politics. Killing the king is also an option, as well as bar fighting. It is so wide that it takes hours to discover the seas in the game. I do not talk about like 3-5 hours. I'm talking about more than 20 hours.

Your relationships and choices changes the end of the game. Your decisions changes the future of the villagers. It can even change the course of war. Every decision you make and movements you take affects what will happen in the future. This is one of the reasons for Witcher, being a perfect game.

There are many places in the game. DLCs are also a game by themselves. Many games today are not as good as Witcher's DLCs. But this game is so good that even DLC has sold millions. I think it deserves it to the last penny. Each one is so well connected to the Witcher and they have completely different stories.

I can easily recommend this game and I have spend more than 200 hours, personally and love each second of it. Right now, I wish I could forget the game and I want to play the game from scratch. You may not want to play the first game probably because of the mechanics and the old graphics. The second game is so beautiful that it can be played even today. But I suggest you watch their stories. On the other hand, it is also reasonable to read books.
