Birçok resmi kurum ve kılavuzda da olmazsa olmaz dil olarak kullanılıyor. Bu dil sayesinde insanlar nereye seyahat ederse etsin bir şekilde anlaşma imkanı bulabiliyor. Adeta her ülke de ana dilinden sonra mutlaka müfredatlarda yer alan ikinci dil değerindedir.
