Rice is a food generally eaten all over the world especially in Asia where it is majorly grown due to their rivers. Due to the fact that it is now grown almost all over the world including in Africa, the people of Nigeria have harnessed it into different types of dishes.
Here is jollof rice, a meal cooked in Nigeria, Africa and that is eaten at a lot of major occasions. It is cooked in different ways with different methods and meats. The world Jollof originated from the Yoruba tribe of nigeria who cooked it first.
The meal is prepared by boiling the rice first and adding at different stages, rice, tomatoes, onions and pepper and it also accepts any meat, fish, chicken or any other garnishing. It goes well with salad and a cool drink either wine, soft drink, palmwine.etc.
