“Hello Human” // ep5 // it’s freaking friDAZE, wowza, let’s get this one done EARLY.

click play on the soundcloud track at the bottom of this post and then come back up and read, i've even provided you tunes as you read! :)

i’ve got lots of life logistics to do today so I wanna get this early so I can get all that sorted this morning. I’ve been working on a layout in screen flow for a video as well that I wanna finish today, once that’s up I can switch up on the tutorials stuff — I need to add another 5/10 pieces there today.

Great to see lots more people doing daily vlogging on dtube, combined with wanting to bring creators here and companies on review hunt I think my next three months is kinda mapped out! :)

Btw, I have replaced the url on these people

@old-guy-photos was talking about the real world and the internet world combining together today, I’ve started to become a regular watcher of ‘real people’ — authentic, real world human beings — his story really reminded me of when I used to wait for weeks on end for a letter to come back from my penpal in Canada when I was 12. I really loved getting those letters, I used to run out the door with it to my den and read it alone. . ;) — left a little note on the video ;)

@romafedorov is about to take a flight back home (11 hours, eek) and is some how playing games on his iPhone with a xbox one controller! The combinations these days. I used to run a little retroarch raspberry pi but it had timing issues. Maybe the raspberry pi4 is more suited to that! — I left a comment about wanting to buy a switch lite for my daughter ;)

@joythewanderer was making Puttanesca pasta today. I’ve never made a sauce from scratch but I’m totally down for that lovely Lloyd Grossman sauce of the same name. Those black olives are something else, yummy. I have cut back on my pasta consumption thou to maybe once in a few weeks, trying to have more fresh greens and lentils recently — a left a comment.

@elsiekjay was talking about ‘dtube easy money’ today — I left a comment about the ‘rewards pool’ because I think elsie was making a case that it was not easy to record a vlog each day and actually I think it’s incredibly simple, especially if you are just ‘riffing’ at the camera. I think it’s an interesting position how where the source of where money comes from and how we acquire that money changes our relationship with it — if it was vs physical exercise of a 8/12 shift do we feel we have earned that money in a better way? — I was always ridiculed at college for having a ‘computer job’ because I was lazy, I’d LOVE for this debate to be opened up more.

nathansifugaming in perfect timing did a video about the whole deverifying thing that youtube is doing currently to ‘verified’ users of the platform, I’m absolutely certain that some people will feel ‘offended’ (I’m typical unicorn style) about having that removed and will revolt by moving to other platforms — this is a perfect time for dtube to activate. Every single member of dtube needs to get this out into their social networks about this, i’m going to record a video about this TODAY — thanks for sharing information on this Nathan!

@alexran I already asked @mamun12345 why he has this separate account and he told me he lost access to the other one. kinda weird that the name is alexran? Is his name really Alex? He doesn’t look like an Alex! :) nice camera quality! Paid by steem maybe? :) he’s heading to Kuala Lumpur, let’s hope the camera angle isn’t so low thou! :) — I left a comment about it!

@ steemersayu907 was talking about how to make the right decision today but to be honest I could not watch more than 10/20 seconds — it’s like someone swallowed a ‘make a video like these popular video’s on youtube’ about it — the grading was intense, the flashing overlay was annoying and also my gut instinct was that maybe you can’t record a video about making the right decision seeing as that’s unique for everyone — that said, can’t fault the effort — I think a lapel mic would go a long way.

@joshlit is someone I don’t think I’ve commented on before but his title ‘small town living’ sounded like something I should click on and watch. Not sure if he’s a new dtuber but I left a comment and subscribed. I think I’m gonna like his vlogs as he comes across as an optimiser and he was riffing about small town logic, I’m always interested in hearing about the backwards weirdness of small towns!
