Just North of Buena Vista, CO at the Tom Cat Ranch. The west side of the valley is the Collegiate Range. This photo is looking West at the very first snows coming over the top. On the left if you look closely you can just make out the yellow Aspens. This was my first trip to Colorado and the Rockies and my memories of the trip are of streams of gold among the Alpines in thin air. Magic for a photog.
