classic hip/low back painsteemCreated with Sketch.

I'm a doctor of chiropractic, going into my 33rd year of practice. Some of the most over looked causes of lower back and hip pain complaints by patients that are missed by fellow D.C.'s, orthopedic, neuro, gp's, and physical therapist, are the anterior(front) ilio-psoas muscle. The lateral(side)glutmedius muscle with the iliofemeral ligament, and the posterior(back) muscles of the glut minimus, and piriformis muscles, along with the sacrotuberous ligament. By checking these groups of muscles and ligaments through muscle testing, which can be done manually. The means by which I check is a technique called kinesiology. Applied kinesiology (AK) or therapy localizing is very effective, fast and gives great feed back to the practitioner of whether these structures are at fault. If so, they need to be corrected prior to adjusting the spine or pelvis(I will explain this reason later in another blog). I use an impulse IQ gun by neuromechanical innovations. I've owned other adjusting instruments, however, nothing can touch this one. Patients have told me they have been receiving treatment from pain management, physical therapy, D.C.'s , orthopedics, for months some for over 2 years for their hip, leg, lower back pain, prior to coming to see me. After using my specific search pattern of muscle testing, and finding the muscle groups, and trigger points involved. Then I begin using the impulse IQ to treat the areas and getting nearly immediate relief after treatment. There's a bit of amazement and a lot of gratitude from those patients for helping them with this chronic pain. These conditions are classic and are too often over looked and easily corrected.
