With steemit being open source. Is it naive to think it could lead to a site catering only to certain tags? Or even every post response is given a tag by default? Or even limited to a tag selection field? Just have thoughts on ways I would like to see this being implemented and wondering how far off base I am.
Please comment, but don't upvote. This is hardly a contribution as I am seeking answers ;)
That being said, if you see a great answer... vote for it.
P.S.: answerme is a tag I just added. Would be awesome for content where questions are asked.... and only answers are voted on right? lol

Ok we need a competent lawyer, personally I live with a lawyer; so the issue of competency comes up quite a bit.
Like the other day I said "is it OK to murder someone?", she replied; "who me???"... I said "No, just in general", she replied 'it depends'...
With the Blockchain and Steemit being "Open Source" I is my legal understanding nothing once Open Source can become privately or 'for profit' owned at a latter time.
So may we find some competent legal opinions and or case law about this issue...
BTW my lawyer friend. She never ever ever loses a case. Truly in 99% of the time she wins outright or settles any or all cases for a few cents in the dollar.
Truly she has lost 5 cases in the last many years, so while i might question her competency; i never question her skill !!!

Thank you. It wasn't my intent or thought to profit or even really change the source. My thought was more creating "rooms". Basically I have played a lot of games over time. All of them have pretty huge networking outside the games themselves for content sharing, tips/tricks or selling of virtual items within the game. So I (just an example) I wanted to create a discussion group for World of Warcraft. Could I create a site that uses the steemit platform but filters out from view tags not relevant to WoW?
When posting gave an option for WoWGeneral WoWSales etc...
It's just me trying to think how it might be used to bring in an entire group of people that use sites like this, but make it able to be fully relevant to the subject they come for

If your into games then maybe you should investigate using that knowledge skill base to enlighten and entertain others. One place I found was TAG steemfantasy maybe there are other "cultists" (i use the word descriptively only). But you realise there are huge legions of Jedi, Trekkies etc. among the world...
Find a nice place you like and have fun investigating what is happening there, sniff around and enjoy yourself so you keep coming back to steemland until you find the secret recipe spices to the steemuniverse pudding algorithm.
So you on the BC (blockchain)...

If you ask great questions; then you are going to EARN my UPvote, even if you do not want it :)
This is because my SP and reputation are critiqued by how others rate all my actions on Steemit within the steem algorithm.
In additional you can place any blog post into one or up to five different TAG categories as you desire; obviously the better fit your posting has within a tag means the more relevant exposure to niche audiences it has to attract traction...
