but then it just shows as a link...i want to embed it (audio files) and have it run on startup.

    stuff from sites like this
    MP3's mostly...
    I want the viewer to only HEAR the music
    no images (that would be distracting)

      I don't think it could be done.
      Not on steemit.com
      But you could try I guess

      I havn't been able to make it work.
      I'm NOT a geek..so that's not saying much
      I wish I could though.

          Actually, you could try this
          If you want it to play automatically, you could upload your audio file online and copy the embed code.

          Another way is to upload on youtube or other site without images
