Howdy! I was hoping to check out Steemit chat and have been having difficulties getting in. I tried to sign up on Friday, putting in my name, email, and a new password. I was under the impression that I would receive a confirmation email, but never did.
Today I still hadn't received an email, so I just tried to sign in using the login information I wrote down Friday. I got the error message "User not found or incorrect password." I tried several times each using both my username and email address. This didn't work, so I went back and tried to register a new account. Put in the same information as Friday, got the error message "Email already exists."
Next I went back and tried the "forgot password" option. It said if my email was registered it would send me a link on how to reset my password. Didn't get the email. I came back an hour later, and tried again. I've now requested a password reset link at least half a dozen times so clearly it's not happening.
Does anybody know what could be going on here? Am I missing something really obvious?

I wish I could help you on that one. I tried to sign up when I first joined steemit, and I had no luck either. Hopefully someone will fill us in.
