So I spent steem cash for steem?
Im just making sure that I got this right so I can come have some clarity and maybe help others to explain the system;I got a payout last night half in steem cash and half in steem power.So I decided to use the steem cash to convert to steem to eventually power up for steem power.There is however a two week period which is require to convert steem cash to steem and it does not show that balance in the wallet?Hopefully my experience and confusion can help others.Cheers

right.
once you converted steem Dollars to Steem you have to wait about 1 Week ! and you cant see it in your wallet till the converting finished.
(by the way, if you would simply sell your steem dollars on the exchange you could get it instantly)
When you got your steem you have the decision to power up or selling for Btc for example

There is an easier way to get steem instantaneously which won't leave you with 130 Steem Dollars in limbo for a week like I have.
In upper right to the right of your avatar icon is a menu button. In that menu is Market. You can convert steem dollars to steem almost instantly here. Mess around with a small amount of your steem dollars first so you can make sure you understand how it works.
Then once you have steem click on the steem in your wallet and choose power up and tell it how much of the steem you want converted to steem power.
