Oh, don't you cry, please, shelter doggie, don't you cry!
Perhaps, today your begging barking was too shy...
But shyness yours is not a sin, is not a crime.
And they will take you for a walk another time.

Nobody walked you - but it doesn't mean you're bad!
It only means, your fluffy neighbors,black and grey,
Were simply luckier on shelter Walking Day.

Oh, don't you think yourself so ugly and so thin,
That none of people wants to touch your ginger skin!
They are too different, you know... I swear, it's true!
And someone's looking for the doggie just like you!

Your friend will come and you will catch his jolly scream
Because it means" I've found the doggie of my dream!"
For true love's not mislead by breeds and pedigree,
And it's the dog who brought this simple truth to me!
