ARE YOU "CONTENT" WITH YOUR LIFE?

If not, it's time!

First off, this has nothing to do with being content, but rather with making content. Many of us here on steemit would consider ourselves to be content creators. For newer users, getting ideas on what to post about can be difficult, but it is the purpose of this video to encourage you all to view your life through a different lens, and see the potential that your life already has. I hope it helps. Enjoy the video. Run time approximately five minutes.

IF YOU ARE NOT, YOU SHOULD BE

Seriously way too many contents to write about.

Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life! Real life is interesting! Even sharing our mistakes or embarrassing times.
Encouraging!

Good point! Mistakes make good content! LOL!

mistakes do not exist, they are learning experiences... same thing but really big difference

Thank you so much for this post/video. Am encouraged to believe what I daily do may actually be of interest especially as, for me, my life is no longer as exciting as it used to be. Looking at the cut branches behind you reminded me of a time in the UK as a National Trust volunteer working on an estate trimming trees in a wood and entrusted with a log chopper. Great fun. Also the owner of the estate coming up to see we honoured the trees planted in memory of certain members of the family. Oh, I realise my memories are worth sharing! Have pictures. Making note to get cracking once I am dressed, bed made and have to do some shopping. another post on how I allowed my day to be interrupted. See what you have done? Released a stream of mental energy! Thank you.

Oh, I realise my memories are worth sharing!

Very good! I love the taste of your past that you just shared, and look forward to hearing more! Thank you too!

Wish i had more online friends.

That video is very motivational and encouraging. personally I am now motivated than ever and I am sure alot of steemians will be motivated as well after watch this particular video. Thanks for sharing @papa-pepper.

Great advice. I haven't had as much luck on Steemit yet, but it has worked fairly well for me on Medium. I'm often surprised which of my stories resonates with readers and which don't. You never know until it's out there in the wilds of the internet.

To the question in your title, my Magic 8-Ball says:

Without a doubt

Hi! I'm a bot, and this answer was posted automatically. Check this post out for more information.

Thanks for your motivation .. I identify with what you say because I'm new to Steemit and I want to give my best but I lack experience. Hugs.

I see what you did there man, and it's true. No matter what we're doing, whether it's exotic travel or daily occurrences, we're living the story of our lives. And that story is "content".

Thanks for actually checking it out!

Of course man! To be honest, I actually got faked out by the pun haha because I was drawn in by the title since I often speak and post about motivation and inspiration, and then it turned out that it wasn't asking if we were happy/content with our lives, but rather giving examples of turning our lives into material for our blogs. Really great description of that too, because you're right that what is one man's daily life, is a world away and truly unique to someone on the other side of the globe. That's also what's so cool about having a global platform like Steemit.

Yeah, I often try to inspire and encourage too, so it might have thrown quite a few people for a loop. I like your stuff too man!

Haha absolutely. Thanks man, right back at ya.

I believe too many people become “comfortable” and don’t seek growth. Whether it be through learning new skills or experiencing new things, life is all about growth. I will always suggest for people to get out of their comfort zone and look for growth. Not only is it an adrenaline rush, but it’s also s great story! Don’t become comfortable with life! Seek challenge and growth!

Being a content person helps to personalize the platform. Learning about the daily lives of others makes it real and brings life and energy to others. we can learn mentally and spiritually as we grow. I consider i a win win. As we share content one is never content but instead is driven an d motivated to better themselves and the world they touch. Thanks @papa-pepper for sharing this video.

I have not taken the liberty of watching the video because my connection is really dead at the moment, but I do agree with your header.

We really have the capability to make us happy in our life. Yes of course we do not have all factors in our hand. But some people seem to be to scared to sail to a rough sea to reach a better land on the other side sometimes.

Grazie per il tempo che hai dedicato a dare queste raccomandazioni

Perhaps this is the difference between people who always have and see content all around them and those that just struggle and blame “writers block.” I tend to have quite a number of ideas swimming around in my mind. Some of them I have great passion behind it when I’m writing it and the blog just feels like it’s got “it.” Other times I struggle to find my way through creating something but I still do anyways.

One of the things I love to see is someone goes “oh I don’t have the time to do that anymore” and then they follow you. That is now someone you can relate with and you are providing them something they want to keep coming back more for.

Deeper than Data! Well put. This is very encouraging for a newbie. Thank you. I'm sure your video will help others be content with their content. (And is that GOATS I hear? While my goats are only now pregnant I think over the ocean the kids have dropped?)

Yup those are goats! Your avatar almost looks like our Angora doe.

@papa-pepper big boss meet my sister @buckaroo sister meet the big boss and one of the biggest givers, encouragers, good hearted and general all round nice guy papa-pepper you two will get along famously as you are both goat freaks ;)

Cheer$;)

So shearing of sheep and goats? Would love to have Angora but we live in semi-desert and my poor Saanen already take strain

I just used this concept testing DLive on my iPhone from the gym I work out in. I'm getting close with the tests. There is one more test I really have to do before I'm production ready to just go live all over the place with DLive!

Yes sir thanks for updating us

You definitely are content with your life ;-)

My life is not quite so interesting.... yet.

One day it will be. I'm working on it.

My ultimate goal is to be eccentric. But that takes a lot of money. At the moment I'm just plain weird. (which is a step above odd) so there is a ways to go yet. But I'll get there :-)

At the moment I'm just plain weird.

LOL - That helps my friend!

This is just what I needed to hear today. I've been so busy with the homestead and the kids that my posting has had to be pushed to the back burner. I decided to start vlogging because I believe I can put vlog posts out faster than the blogs because there's less editing. Well, I got one video out and after that I started questioning and doubting myself. Well, it's time to get inspired and get confident. Thanks @papa-pepper!

Yeah, a vlog is easier to fit in, and glad to hear that I could help encourage you!

Whatever you do, make a content out of it, you never really know who you might connect with, as a result of it. You absolutely nailed it Papa. I have connected with so many people in my line of interest, and even people who are into something foreign to me, and i picked interest in it, and get to develop interest in it.

Maybe because i love typing and getting my thoughts out there, in giving comments and also posting, i sometimes wonder when people say they don't know what to post. Even that state of confusion is something to post, because it might just inspire another person, or more so, you might connect with someone going through the same.
I love the fact you make everything about you into a post, to teach people, in either learning from your mistakes or showing a better way to doing things.

Thank you Papa. I have a lecture to give today on discord, i might as well just chip this in too.

Go for it! Glad to hear that you enjoyed it and think it is a worthwhile message.

It is definitely a great message Papa, and i used it. I referenced you, definitely. Hahaha. Thanks a lot sir.

Your content is great, but the way you present it is just as important. Your photography is excellent for one and your written explanation is on the mark. Then you put it all together for a rewarding experience.

Wow, thanks for the encouragement man! I'm glad to hear that you think so!

Yes! I have to keep reminding myself of this. Things in my everyday life may be pretty normal for us, but might be very interesting and even educational for others! Im always looking for more Steemit material in my life! :)

Great advice, @papa-pepper. What you think is ordinary and mundane in your life could be something new and exciting for other folks. I think it gets to the point where you can't enjoy your forest because you are too busy looking at the trees in front of you!
