Steemians,
A few months go, when I had a lot of time to spare, I was posting pretty avidly on Steemit, looking to up-vote quality posters on a regular basis, taking part in contests, even doing trivia giveaways.
More recently, the time constraint of being in professional school has limited me time-wise. I have maybe an hour to spare to Steemit once a week or so.
Now, a for you out there. Does not posting for over a month pose an insurmountable loss of attention from other users? Is it even possible to survive out here if you're not advocating others and posting at least every few days?
I just thought I'd see if anyone has some insights on this predicament.

I post once a week mostly. I don't think it has hurt my credibility. Not everyone has time for every day posting.

If you post regularly, and on the same day each time I think it helps. I usually post on Saturday, so perhaps people subconsciously know to look for me then? Not sure. I've also been here for a long time, and was here before most so I am sure that gives me an advantage that many do not have. Perhaps my experiences are not something that others can expect? It may also differ depending on subject matter.

Not everybody has a lot of time on their hands... perhaps when you post less, you need to be a little more particular about what and who you read-- pick your core group you want to follow, since you won;t have time to check in with as many people.

That makes sense, I just feel like I haven't been able to read anyone lately, and I know this platform is about synergy
