Hello, fellow Helpienauts, and supporters of @helpie!

Delegations Updates

As mentioned in one of our last posts, @helpie is currently changing, and hopefully for the better. 😍 We've taken on new folks who truly care about helping and making this community flourish (particularly our new witness team).

When we first started @helpie, we had a very simple idea in mind to gather strong members of the community and to grow the community account to support our members. To this end, we came up with a delegation/incentive system. This was ideal at the moment and truthfully there is nothing wrong with that particular system, but we believe that we can be more effective as a community by changing our focus. We want the community stake to be better aligned with initiatives that are good for the platform. A great example is the curation posts that @helpie has put out. But this isn't the only way.

👉Clearly speaking, we will be re-evaluating voting weights again, with the idea to focus on members and users who are adding value to the platform.

We want to be transparent about this change (and any in the future), and want to leave the door open to all of our members. If you have any questions or concerns about how we are re-evalutating, the changes we are making, HOW we are making these changes-- reach out.

We are working with a very basic (and new) 'ruleset' that hopefully will help guide us to the moon.🤩 We are open to suggestions and by no means are finalized in our new path.

We are looking to support people who:

• Are committed to the platform
• Engage with the STEEM community
• Try to power up and support others
• Embody the spirit of human value (basically, be nice 😍)

If that sounds like you, then you have absolutely nothing to worry about! We will continue to support your efforts.

However, if these are things you are currently not doing or actively attempting, we will be removing upvote support.

If you believe there's a mistake (which definitely happens), we want to know! Please stop by the community server (or send one of us a DM) and talk to us about it, especially if you believe you were removed from our support by mistake.

This change will take a little while to fully implement, since the list of members has grown considerably, but the team is working on this currently.
