Life Is About Helping. III, Contributed by @Olawalium

Random acts of kindness makes me happy. It gives me a good feeling that I always struggle to put into words.

Life is about helping. Someone has to help you, you have to help someone too. Imagine if we gave out of the help we have received, can you fathom the kind of world we would live in?

Imagine if I am helped by someone and that led to my breakthrough, I helped another person, and that person also helped another, and the cycle goes on and on and on. Life was designed to be like that, but selfishness, greed, and bitterness has taken its fair share. Well, the balance is needed for us to appreciate what truly matters.

When we wake up every day, rather than be consumed by our own needs and duties, it would be nice if we wake up thinking: ”Who can I help today?”

Most people think helping others is for some selected few. I have seen a lot of people point to another person when someone approaches them for help. I noticed one and it went like this: ”Haha me? That is the person you are supposed to go to”. I was shocked and angry at the same time.

That person failed to understand that every bit helps. It would be understandable if that person doesn’t have and then referred another person to help, but with that kind of tone, I knew the person felt he was unworthy to help and that is where most people miss it.

Most people think they have to have everything first before they help. No...it is not like that.

Life is about sharing, life is about sacrifice, life is about balance and yes, life is about giving and also helping. Every little bit helps.

You don’t need to have it all together before you can help because with life, there are always new targets to attain, so we might never be fully sufficient, and that is why we should always help with what we have.

To be continued...

Thank you for your time.

Life is about helping. Someone has to help you, you have to help someone too.

I agree with this and I can say that from my experience.

I have a few friends that I always helped when they asked me to.

Today, they helped me, because I needed to do some repairs in the backyard.

And I'm sure they would help me again if I asked them.

Cuz that's what friends do :)

Just like you said, life is about sharing.

And what's best to share?

Love, ofcourse.

Brilliant. I totally love this and even the personal experience you shared. Life is about helping. They turned up at the hour of your own need too and i am sure that meant a lot to you.

I value and love your post @communitycoin helping is especially true and pure when we do not expect something in return, there has being cases where one invites a rich man and ignores a poor guy cause he know surely the rich man will Not ignore him on his own day of ceremony, and the poor won't be able to pay back on any way.kudos to you bro and keep steeming

Yes, giving is not giving until we give to someone who might never be able to repay us. Same goes for helping. True help has no class barrier. Thank you very much.

Do good and do not look at who

Exactly!

Most people think helping others is for some selected few

This is perhaps a fallacy that is also a a way of closing their eyes and turning away from the responsibility. It is easy to ignore a problem that you think is not yours.

This really becomes a self fulfilling prophecy, not because it has to be that way but because people think that way. In the end the number of people helping others are few because others simply think that they don't have to, as it is a job for somebody else. When in reality, they are equally capable of helping as any other person.

I guess if most of us (don't even have to be all) were to make sure to at least think about helping others a lot could be solved. Mind you, I am just saying 'think about' and not actually doing it. The problem is that we don't even consider that we can help others because if we do, then a lot of that thinking can be translated into action.

Our thoughts birth actions and the mere fact that they allowed that thought, shows great intent. Once there is a hand to give, there is a hand to receive.

In the end the number of people helping others are few because others simply think that they don't have to, as it is a job for somebody else. When in reality, they are equally capable of helping as any other person.

Totally love that.

Thanks as always for this. Much appreciated.

Its really nice thought.but people are so busy for themselves they often ignore helping people untill their own benefit.most common and bitter truth is that first thing come in their mind that "ohh i will help but what will i get in return"
Thats the reality of nowadays.

Yes...most people think of "what's in this for me?" And that is a "not so nice way" to view help. We should be able to help with no ulterior motive.

Thanks for sharing this, my friend.
