Proper usage of nebulizers

If asthma, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or chronic respiratory disease) and other respiratory disorders are acute, then the nebulizer may be necessary if the patient fails to take inhaler.
Generally, three types of nebulizers are used.
Jet nebuliser can be run at home because it is easy to use. The ultrasound transforms the fluid content of the medicine into the intravenous ultrasonic nebulizer. And with the help of a mesh nebulizer, liquid medicines with a mesh or nets are sent to the airways and sent to the airway. Jett Nebulizer is used more in Bangladesh because it is easy to operate and manageable.

There are several parts of the nebulizer. The compressed air is applied through its compressor. Tubes are made of plastic, which connects the compressor to the nebulizer medicine chamber. And the liquid medicine of the drug chamber is transformed into aerosol or spray in the nebulizer.
Use method
► Keep the patient in a comfortable half-sitting or sitting.
► Combine the parts of the nebulizer. Take 3 ml of water per spray, with 5-1 ml of salubital solution and if necessary, it is necessary to take the eptratosium solution (5 ml).
► Then switch on the switch to the compressor with an electrical connection. The air in it flows rapidly.
► Then take a breath and breathe in the lungs with aerosol mouthpiece (Tipis) or mask. If you use mouthpiece, you should keep the patient close to the lip with it on the teeth.
► The patient will have to take a slow and long breathing while nebulizing.
► Generally three to six million fluid drugs are nebulised in 5-10 minutes.
Care
Once used, the nebulizer should be cleaned by following the suggestions given below.
► Wash hands with soap well.
► Separate nebulizers' compilers, tubes, mouthpieces or masks and nebulizers.
► Wash the mothspice or masks and nebulizers in hot water for 30 seconds. Then dry them in the air.
► Compressors, tubes generally do not wash with hot water. The outer side of the tube is cleaned only.
► Change the mouthpiece or mask after six months.
► Change the filter regularly or change it when the filter becomes dirty.
Good to know
► Nebuliser asthma and COPD-patients should not be used regularly. Because it is not a long-term treatment system. It only relieves patient's respiratory distress.
► Even after nebulizing once or twice, the patient will need to take the nearest hospital.
► Sometimes the patient's airway may be contracted immediately at the beginning of the nebulize, and then the patient may have to give oxygen.
► If the eptratosium solution is used in the nebulizer, it can cause pain in the eye of the glaucoma patients. It is safe to use mouthpieces for this type of patient.
► Epatrotrosis solution used in nebulizers can increase the risk of adult patients having problems with prostate gland.
► In some cases the nebulizers used to reduce the patient's potassium levels. So patients may have to give potassium supplement.
