You correctly mentioned not only the story of Rafael Rangel's death, but also important points of his history. However you can add the hardships he suffer regarding scholarship. You also highlight that he was considered the father of bioanalysis and parasitology in Venezuela. Good job.

The student correctly explain Hemoglobin to us. He describes the shape of hemoglobin and mention how it can change to oxyhemoglobin, however you beautifully explained the types of hemoglobin, overall you did an excellent job. Thumbs up :)
- Task 3 (2.5/2.5) Automatic Hematocrit vs. Manual Hematocrit
You did an excellent job of detailing the qualities of both systems by making table . and how they differ and how they work. There is a minor difference but they both go hand in hand in blood tests. Even though the automated system is faster, at least 2 patients will always be verified with the manual method.

You explain how the hematocrit can vary. You mentioned two examples. But did you feel that those are not as we assign and examplify in our task. Our professor asked real.life example as she mentioned in a class. In the task we asked for a real-life example, like the task we showed with the sand and water, whenever we have a glass with sand and water, we will get a final percentage of each proportion, I think you had to put a little more creativity and not make reference to medical terms!

When I read the instruction to provide a real-life example, I aimed to go beyond just repeating classroom examples. I thought using creativity to explain how hematocrit varies in real-world scenarios, like mountaineers in high altitudes or athletes using EPO to manipulate hematocrit, would be relevant and insightful. These aren’t purely medical references but actual, observable situations where hematocrit plays a key role, reflecting real-world implications.
I believe stepping out of the box and applying these concepts creatively enriches the discussion. I didn’t realize the task was specifically asking us to stick to classroom analogies like sand and water. I thought creativity meant introducing fresh perspectives, which is what I tried to do with the examples I mentioned.
Thank you again for the feedback. I will keep this in mind for future tasks, but I hope you also see the value in expanding beyond the lecture examples to make the concept more relatable to various real-life situations.
