Ungrateful Child

Introduction.
A child is a gift and reward from God to the parents. The origin of a child can be trace after the creation of Adam and Even and the emergency of the existence of Sexual Reproduction in Biology.
Sexual Reproduction means the act or process of producing babies, young animals or plants. The outcome of sexual reproduction process was the gift of a child.
A child has been define by many scholars, authors and school of thoughts. The Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary; International Student's Edition, defines a child as:
A young human who is not yet an adult
A son or daughter of any age.
A person who is strongly influenced by the ideas and attitude of a particular time or persons
An adult who behaves like a child and is not matured or responsible.
The responsibility of the father or mother, cannot be the same demanded of the child. In that case, everyone is responsible of his own actions. The basic responsibilities of a child includes: willingness to obey his parents, have a feeling of admiration for his parents because of their good qualities and achievement, have polite behaviour towards his parents, pray for his parents and do what can rely on to be good, honest and sincere to his parents.
But, when a child decides to create problems, worries and wayward attitude, he automatically becomes ungrateful child to his parents.

UNGRATEFUL CHILD.
A child full of ingratitude is unashamed of his actions and feels unthinking for that. Some children, instead of being a blessing to their mothers, families and entire society, they ended up, choosing to be a threat or problem to the peace of their mothers and others through certain actions they practice which gives no joy, rather sorrow to the mothers.
They ended up not appreciating the motherly care from their mothers to them. They see no reason for rewarding their mothers with good thought, words and actions. Such attitude makes them irresponsible and ungrateful children. Denying their mothers, they joy of motherhood.

WHY THE ACTION?
Some children, started exhibiting actions that are not required from them such as joining cultism, part taking in kidnapping, terrorism, prostitution, seeking for power and pleasure where there is none, taking part in other social and numerous crimes circulating in our society.
This children turn to a green snake in a green grass to their mothers, family members and others. They make their mothers wept, always thinking of her child and the next trouble he or she will cause. Most mother's of this type of children developed one or two sickness resulting either from the thinking aspect of what next her child will commit or the way about of her child who has taken absolute control of his life, destroying peoples properties, intimidating people, killing souls and terrorizing the society.
This set of children in this category, causing nuisance were brain wash to join different bad groups. Some joined through peers group pressure, while some willingly decided on their own to part take, etc. Many of the children fails to understand the meaning of a mother and never thought of appreciating God for the gift of mother and thank their mothers for care and other efforts towards their welfare.
A popular Igbo adage say's "Nwata si na Nne ya aghi ihe ora, nwata ahu,aghi ihe ora kwa". Meaning a child who say's her mother will not sleep, that child will equally not sleep. If you are one of those child, remember when you are still in your mothers womb. You force her to start eating and equally abstain from eating certain things, you force her to stand when she feels like sitting, to sit when she feels like standing, to be awake when she feels like sleeping, to exercise herself, when she feels like resting, to lie down, when she feels like doing something else, making her feel's uncomfortable and creating tension for her.
Have you thought of the ugly situation and pains she bears during labour which were unknown to you. The battle she both spiritually, physically and psychologically fought to save your life, this you can't tell. Recall that mother was your first friend and teacher, who taught you how to talk and other household chores. How much did you pay mother for the interpretation of the signs you used in communicating to her about your needs during your infant days. She baths you, she feed's you, she cloth and care for your needs. All these she did, all because of her love to you.
Why have you decided to use your negative influence in the society to make mockery and jest of your mother, whereby people refers to her as mother of a thief, a harlot, terrorist and what have you.
Do not allow or force your mother to deny you or curse you. If you found yourself in this situation, asked for God grace to change, return home to your mother. Asked her for forgiveness, asked for her blessings, and thank her for everything she has done to save you and keep you alive.
