Herbal Storage: Research the best ways to store herbs at home; take pictures of your storage method and explain why it works.

It is important to follow proper procedures for storing herbal plants and herbal ingredients at home so that they remain effective for a long time. It is very important to store herbs in our home. So with home remedies we can solve cold, common fever, constipation, cold, allergy, indigestion, cough. Now as a storage method dry herbs should be stored in airtight glass or ceramic jars. It is best not to store in plastic containers as plastic can alter the properties of the herb in the long run.

The dried herb can then be stored in powder form. Fresh herbs are most effective when powdered before use. Herb powders lose potency quickly when exposed to air, so should be stored in airtight glass jars. Chosen as a people to preserve all our herbs. We take medicine advice from him if we need it. He has preserved everything properly. Below is a picture of their storage system.

Why it works :- Dried herbs contain less moisture, which prevents infection by bacteria, fungi or other harmful organisms. It keeps the herbs active for a long time and the taste and smell remain intact. So these preservation methods are suitable to maintain the potency of the herb and to use it for a long period of time. Following the right method preserves the flavor, aroma, and nutritional value of the herbs, which are especially beneficial for our health.

Home Remedy Creation: Create your own herbal remedy for a common cold documenting the ingredients, preparation steps, and your experience.

Make an herbal remedy for common cold with ginger and lemon juice and drink this herbal drink 2-3 times a day to relieve common cold and sore throat. This is what I drink today and feel somewhat healthy.

Process :-

  • Take a pot of water and heat it.
  • Take boiling water and ginger in a glass.
  • Then I grated a piece of lemon.
  • Then drink it slowly while hot.

Advantages :-

  • Ginger helps reduce respiratory infections and inflammation.

  • Lemon is rich in vitamin C, which boosts immunity.

Herbal Infusion Experiment: Infuse two different herbs (one for digestion and one for stress/anxiety) in water. Document the process, duration, and your thoughts on the end result.
  • Basil Leaves for stress

First I opted for basil leaves for stress and betel nut for digestion. Basil is an ancient Ayurvedic herb with adaptogenic properties to reduce stress. It helps reduce stress and anxiety.

Process :- At first I took a glass of water. After that I plucked some tulsi leaves from the tulsi tree and collected them. Then they can be washed clean and soaked in glass water and eaten.
