WHO WE ARE
Since Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong’s death in 1986, what now has culminated into this website has been the call to remember the values and teachings that were faithfully taught by Mr. Armstrong for over 50 years!
The Word of God is the FOUNDATION of knowledge and Mr. Armstrong faithfully laid that foundation, which is Christ(1 Cor. 3:11), and built upon it the Church of God- the spiritual TEMPLE OF GOD, the fiancee bride of Christ which He will return to and MARRY! Zechariah 4 tells us that this temple will be built by the Holy Spirit of God, and the Church is represented by a single “Candlestick”(Revelation 1:20).
The Worldwide Church of God, or the Philadelphia era of the Church of God(Revelation 3:7-13) was raised up through the efforts of Herbert W. Armstrong, and was the backing and support which funded his proclamation of the soon coming Kingdom of God. Ambassador College was started by Mr. Armstrong to properly train and teach the ministry the true doctrines and values of Jesus Christ, as He set and gave them through His chosen apostle.
The ministry was commissioned to relay what was given to them by Christ’s apostle, to their congregations faithfully.
The Work and Church grew, and the combined efforts of the Church’s membership produced what you see on wwcg-archives.com.
There have been some ministers and members who have “departed from the way”(Malachi 2:8).
The Worldwide Church of God membership may be unincorporated and scattered, but this website is proof that the Worldwide Church of God membership still exists, and they still are holding fast, still supporting God’s true apostle Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong and the truth and values he taught from the Word of God.

Two churches are foretold in the book of Revelation.
ONE: Rev 17:5: “Mystery, Babylon the Great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth.” Pictured as ruling over nations speaking different languages—This False Church is large, strong, powerful.
TWO: the true Church of God. Rev 12. A small, persecuted church, having to flee for her safety.
The true Church of God, holding to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the teachings of Christ and the apostles, soon had to go underground, meeting for services in secret. Millions were tortured and put to death for their faith.
But the TRUTH of Jesus Christ and the apostles was preserved by the persecuted “little flock,” and in its fullness in the Holy Bible.
The Worldwide Church of God(an unincorporated, spiritual organism) today holds to the SAME FAITH, same doctrines, same customs and practices, as the original Church of A.D. 31, under the original apostles.
The Worldwide Church of God is a spiritual organism, created by GOD – not a legal corporate organization created by this world’s laws.
The members of the Church are NOT( nor ever was ) members of the now dissolved “Worldwide Church of God, Inc.,” a California corporation.
Some are teaching their disciples and congregants, that the members of the Church were the above California corporation. This gesture and teaching is only used by these ministers or individuals to gain membership for their organization. It is used mainly against the true membership of the Worldwide Church of God.
We have here the Church, an organized spiritual organism but unincorporated. Now this is not a corporation. This is just the Church as God has organized it.
Herbert W. Armstrong has been used by Jesus Christ to preach the gospel of the kingdom of God in all nations as a witness, meeting with Kings, Queens, Presidents, Emperors, Prime Ministers and other Heads of State, fulfilling the Matthew 24:14 prophecy. The job of the Worldwide Church of God has been always to back and support the apostles of Christ in that mission with, support, prayers, tithes and generous offerings!
And that message is still going out today, through the support and backing of the Worldwide Church of God membership.
Many of the publications of the Church is available, including that of the World Tomorrow Radio & TV Programs with Herbert W. Armstrong on this website. We have more we are in the process of adding.
In 1979, to remind our reader of events that effected the Worldwide Church of God, an illegal lawsuit filed by 6 disgruntled malcontents, was filed with the State attorney’s office in California.
Two of these disgruntled ex-members were Alvin Earl Timmons & Shirley Timmons.
In 2004, Earl & Shirley Timmons filed a new trademark “The World Tomorrow” with their church organization.
Their trademark (Serial number – 76622212; Registration Number – 3209903) is NOT the trademark that includes “THE WORLD TOMORROW” Radio & TV Programs produced by Herbert W. Armstrong and the Worldwide Church of God.
The Worldwide Church of God membership are striving to preserving the “products” that have been produced by the Worldwide Church of God under Herbert W. Armstrong(1934-1986) through this website, although we have been plagued by many who want to steal them and illegally use them for their churches for monetary gain.
The Gospel message that can be heard and seen through the preaching of Herbert W. Armstrong is being shared and made available on social media platforms such as Facebook, Youtube, & Twitter by members of the Worldwide Church of God.

3.The Way of Giving page.
Herbert W. Armstrong taught to millions around the globe, the official way that produces peace, happiness, joy and fulfillment. He called it “the way of give” or LOVE. It is the biblical way of God put into easy to understand terms. The way of helping others, of serving, of out-flowing concern for the well being of our neighbors, the way that produces real and lasting PEACE & HAPPINESS.
The Worldwide Church of God believes in that way, and we are striving to walk according to that way in combined effort worldwide.
